Hi, I remember several years ago seeing an ad for something that uses the wiring in your house as a giant radio antenna. I don't know if it was a hoax or not and now I can't find any information about it, but would something like that be possible for hdtv reception?

Almost anything else will work better. Forget about it.

These are basically hoaxes. A good set of rabbit ears will outperform these powerline "antennas". I still these ads every once in awhile.
