Hey folks, my requirements are very minimal but one of them might be hard to find.
Any suggestions on models to look for?

1) Under $100 used (craigslist, facebook marketplace, etc)
2) At least two HDMI inputs
3) Audio normalization to reduce sudden blaring loud commercials

Requirement #3 is why I'm here asking for suggestions.
The rest is easy to find!
I watch a lot of NFL on Fox and Fox is HORRIBLE with the loud commercials.

I only have two speakers. Might never have more than that.
It'll be connected to an HTPC and a Roku.
It's for my garage setup.

Thanks!

Wait, does the dynamic volume/night mode only work with some signals?

D.COMP (Dynamic Range Compression): Motion picture soundtracks have tremendous dynamic range (the contrast between very soft and very loud sounds). For listening late at night, or whenever the maximum sound level is lower than usual, the Dynamic Range Compression allows you to hear all of the sounds in the soundtrack (but with reduced dynamic range). This only works when playing program sources recorded in Dolby Digital or DTS.
I need it to work with ALL signals.
Even just OTA TV signal from my HTPC.

Optimizing the night time listening volume (Night Mode)
Compress dynamic range (difference between loud and soft sounds).

This can be set when a Dolby Digital signal is input.
???

EDIT:

Okay it looks like Dynamic Volume doesn't care what the source is, only that you run MultEQ setup first.
The lesser receivers with Night Mode or the other one mentioned above, are signal dependent on being Dolby Digital.

I wound up with a fantastic deal!
Via Facebook Marketplace locally.
Got an AudioSource AMP100 2x50W (or 1x150W) sterep amplifier.
And a Denon AVR-3312CI that has Audyssey MultEQ XT.
For $125 total. I'm feeling very lucky.

The amp will get used in my living room setup for the last two channels that my Atmos capable AVR doesn't have internally.

Dynamic volume sounds fine so far, though I haven't had a chance to check out Fox and it's LOUD commercials yet. :)

The price was actually $125 for just the AVR but the seller was very nice and decided to toss in the amplifier.
Great guy!
He was moving and needed to get rid of things in a hurry.
