hello everyone,

i'm new here, and i'm glad i came across this forum because i'm out of my depth, and i could use a little advice from those who know what they're doing. i'm just now putting together a home theater and based on cnet review i picked up an onkyo 607 receiver. i found a pair of klipsch xf-48 towers for 800.00 at best buy, but they're the floor models, and that basically kills my home theater budget for some time to come. they told me i had a month to see if i like them or return them. i have to admit for the money i'm a little underwhelmed. my question is whether it is worthwhile to empty the budget on used high end towers and add on later, or better off with the new energy classic take 5.1 system for 600.00? my living room isn't very big, only 13'x18' w/ 8' ceiling. is it foolish to pay for demo models?

thanks in advance for any thoughts on this, bryant

Well Vann's sells these new for 800, free shipping no tax, so if anything, get the new ones. http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/it...5/klipsch-xf48

For under $800 speakers I would much rather have these than the xf-48:

Shopping Cart - Any Questions Call 800-691-6914....

Klipsch RF-62 Speakers (pair) Color Black $878.00

tv15 15% off total $‑131.70

Sub Total $746.30

UPS - Ground & Insurance rate. $0.00 Total $746.30

Nevada residence only - sales tax will be added.

I would add on as the budget allows.

Or take a look at these http://www.sounddistributors.com/buy...heater+Systems

Or browse all of these listing for other ideas, remember TV15 code = 15% off
