Using a denon 4100w for 4K with HDCP workaround?

I just upgraded my TV to an LG OLED and would like to try to keep using my Denon 4100W, but it is not HDCP 2.2. compliant. Can I configure the setup to go through the TV first and leverage ARC for the receiver?

My set up is relatively simple, just a set top box and apple tv 4k. I know I would not be able to use the receivers switching capability and would have to leverage the LG inputs, will that cause any lag?

It will all be run through a Savant system, so I don''t know if there will be an issue or is it just about programming it correctly.

Any input would be great.

@bosshog001 I was in this thread trying to find a device to use with my old Integra gear, but planning to get a new receiver this summer. I think it's sold out at Amazon but it is HERE

Sure, just do exactly that. Connect your devices to the OLED and use ARC to the receiver. Apple TV outputs DD+ and some Atmos over DD+, your x4100 should be able to decode that over ARC.

I'm not familiar with Savant systems at all.
