It's been a long time since I put an audio system together, and I'm definitely what you'd call a newbie. I've sold off most of my old system, keeping only the Paradigm PS-1000 subwoofer (v3). I'm now putting together a smaller 5.1 system and in addition to my new (smaller) speakers, I've purchased a Marantz NR1403 receiver. Unfortunately, I need help setting up the subwoofer. Here are images of the equipment:

I'm pretty sure I connect the "SW" jack in the "Pre-Out" section of the Marantz to the "Right (Mono)" Low Level input on the sub. (Right?) However, I'm not sure what to set the the "Level", "Cut Off Frequency", and "Phase Alignment" to. Any suggestions?

1)subwoofer output on the receiver to MONO input on sub will work fine
2)Start with the level control about halfway. Run the AUDY setup and adjust if needed.
3)Leave the phase at 00. You can think of the phase as a time delay. Aduyssey will set your time delay during the calibration process(the distance setting).
4)cut off frequency, turn this all the way up/bypass it. This is a lowpass crossover filter but it should be kept out of the signal chain as the receiver is already filtering the bass signal for you.
