Using a tab-tensioned screen said to be NOT USTPJ-compatible with a USTPJ?

Hi experts,

I had tried a USTPJ with normal non-tensioned non-ALR non-CLR screens in a light-controlled room, and the only problem to my eyes was the distorted image due to groovy screen surfaces. I see many tab-tensioned screens said to be incompatible with USTPJ selling much cheaper than the UST-compatible ones. If the screen material is NOT ALR like my trials earlier, it reduces the image distortion significantly so would be acceptable to me. Am I thinking this right? Please let me know what you think. I am particularly looking at this one below:

Yeah, they can get 'wavy' over time. Fixed frame is recommended for UST's.

Thank you for you advice. Unfortunately, fixed frame is not an option for me due to WAF issues. Can I interpret your answer that at least non-ALR tab-tensioned screens can work with USTPJ for a while?

Anything that's not fixed frame will probably get noticeably wavy (with a UST) after awhile.
