Using High Level Inputs on Sub

Instead of using the line level outputs from a preamp / processor to the sub, has anyone tried using the high level outputs directly from the amp (or run from the speaker to the sub)?


This configuration would allow for easier sub integration with 2 channel audio systems as well as some other benefits for 5.1 systems.


Any issues with doing it this way?
