I just changed from my dishnetwork setup to direct tv, and when I cange a channel using replay tv the guide for direct tv pops up. I tried other codes, and that was the only one that works. Can I do something to fix this?

I have an RCA DirecTV receiver. I use the IR code 0392 to change channels etc. I have very few problems, though on ocassion the wrong show will record, 'cause replay will fail to change to the correct channel. This is NOT a problem most of the time, and I am happy with the way it works.

Thank you for your help. I tried that code, and still had trouble. I tried a ird with the serial port in the back, and it works a lot better.

You are correct. A serial port will work every time, wish my receiver had a serial port connection. Until then, the IR will have to do
