Due to the set up for my room I need small mountable front speakers.

Current set up:

70" Sharp above fireplace(no room on floor for big fronts)

Direct TV

HK AVR 3650

Fronts Bose 161's

Center JBL Northridge

Surround Klipsch SS1's

PA 12" ported

I really like the sound and look of the Klipsch SS1's

Question is if I run 4 SS1's and upgrade my center to a high end center like a Klipsch 52 II, or 42 II, how would it sound. The look of the bose 161's don't do anything for me, the sound is ok. The room would look much better with Klipsch SS1's all around and a Klipsch center. But would the sound be an upgrade, downgrade, or equivalent?

Any advise would help, thanks

You won't want surrounds as your main speakers. Look at using bookshelf speakers that match the center channel. Should easily be able to find wall mounts for them unless you find something that already has them built in.
