Using LG 32LX2R with PC questions

Hi

A friend's just bought a 32LX2R and wants me to help make sure it's set up correctly. He's connected his PC's Radeon X740 graphics card to the TV with the DVI-DVI cable and that's working fine.

He only wants to use the TV for gaming (mainly letting other people watch, while he plays using his CRT) and video playback, using his CRT monitor for everything else, so am I right in thinking that the TV should be the secondary device running at 1360 x 768 and Overlay mode options should be Theater, Same as Source, 16:9? He can have his Primary CRT monitor running at a different res to his TV can't he?

Whilst 1360 x 768 is great for playing 720p video files, what happens with 1080i or 1080p files? I guess the TV must scale them down to fit but that would defeat the point of playing such files wouldn't it?

Are there any settings, other than Brightness and Contrast, that should be tweaked on the TV for optimum quality?

Flicking through the manual, I noticed the Auto Config and sRGB settings. Should I be using either/both of these for optimal setup?

Also, under the XGA setting, why is there a 1366x768 setting. I thought the native res was 1360x768, so what's the point of this?
