Got my Mitsubishi 1100U D-VHS VCR (for $150 the other day, you beat that. I just got lucky as the local appliance store selling it for that price normally only sells it to Mitsub RPTV customers at that price, but I buy other appliances there), along with my pre-existing JVC D-VHS VCR and
Samsung SIR-T165 OTA receiver, all equipped with 2 1394 ports each!!!
The Mitsub runs great, no glitches period!!! Fantastic!!!
The Mitsub FF and REV totally fast, way faster than the JVC. NEAT!!
Also, on FF with PLAY on, the Mitsub is much smoother with hardly any dropout of picture, whereas the JVC is very jerky with dropoffs. NICE re the Mitsub.
The Mitsub is fantastic for OTA digital and HD recording!!! VERY IMPRESSED!!!
Today, I took my Superbowl 2003 D-VHS tape recorded on the JVC. I played it on the Mitsub, recording the highlites only on another D-VHS tape on the JVC. Turned out great. And like I said, the Mitsub is so convenient to use with its FF with PLAY as an editing deck.
THE BEST $150 I ever spent. (RUB IT IN!!!)
