Using the DVI ouput on my video card?

I tried hooking up my pc to my sammy dlp via dvi and I couldn't get it to work. My video card is a nvidia 6600gt. Is there a program I have to use to change the output from vga to dvi?

Have you run the nVidia display wizard? If so, does it recognize the sammy?
