I had uverse installed today. when he terminated the end of the cable going into the rg he crimped it down on the wires so it is not on the sheathing at all. It appears that the weight of the cable is pulling on the wires.

My idea was to put the ethernet cable in a keystone jack for either rj11 or rj14 then a short cable connected between that and the rg.

What would be the best way to terminate this?
