Also wanted to add that the room has a tile floor and the v1520 is a downfiring sub. Would it be recommended to go down or side fire for a hard floor?

V1520 {DOA} replace or refund?
I ordered a V1520 but when I received it and hooked it all up it was not working properly. All I heard were faint crackly noises then after a minute nothing at all... I called BIC & they think the amp is bad and asked me to send it to them for a replacement {I appreciate the great service and them standing by their product like that} I then however got in touch w/ the company I bought the sub from & they said I could send it back for either a replacement or a refund. My question is, should I just get another V1520 or go for something else in the same
