Has anyone else had a problem with their Van Helsing DVD?? I tried watching it twice and the screen freezes in the same spot on chapter 17. When Dracula and Anna are dancing and go in front of the mirror. It freezes right there. It actually starts getting jumpy right before that and gets slight pixelation but that is where it stops. I am hoping it is a disc problem and not a problem with my player.

I have not had any problems with my copy. It plays perfectly in both my Denon 2900 and my Panny RP82.

It sound like the 2ed layer on your disc is defective. Try it on another DVD player and if problem persists exchange for a new copy.

Thanks William. Never thought to try another player for some reason. Duh!!! Tried it on the kids el cheapo Apex and it does the same thing. Guess I'll swap it today.
