If you use the search function you will find lots of threads discussing that subwoofer. I think that sub has been around since 2005.

In US$, they sell for just under $500. Velo does do price control. $349 US will get you a refurb. So check on the Velo site or ask them if this is a licensed dealer. If you don't buy from a Velo licensed dealer, Velo won't honor the warranty.

FYI Futureshop is a Canadian division of BestBuy with 14,000 employees and $5 billion dollars in sales. I laughed when I drove past this warehouse in Vancouver in July and it had both Futureshop and BestBuy signs on it:

So much for shopping around for the best price when it all comes from the same warehouse.

thanks for the responces. i perchased one today 349 tax in. wont compare to my svs pb-12-nsd that i had to sell because of space limitations. anyhow thanks for the reply's.
