I'm currently using some cabinets with very little ventilation (read none) to house my AV Equipment. When I use the equipment I leave the doors wide open in order to allow for ventilation. This is obviously not a great solution. I want to add some fans to the cabintes to get air moving in and around the components.
I recently came across these mechatronics fans that are powerd by AC and are relatively inexpensive.
My question is how much noise can I take if this is tucked up behind my cabinets before it becomes noticable?
Also, is there any recomendation on how much airflow I need? Maybe this question can't be answered without getting more specific on the actual cabinets, but I thought I'd give it a try.
Thanks,
