I recently purchased the Panasonic tc-60as530u from Best Buy for $715 after tax with the 10% movers coupon. While I think the picture quality is good for the price, I noticed vertical banding when the camera pans during certain scenes, or sports. From what I have found on google this appears to be somewhat normal and random for LCD-LED tvs. The banding doesn't seem to be to bad(unless it's hockey) but I notice it every time it occurs. I've had a Samsung Plasma for the past four years and did not have this issue. I'm thinking it is possible I'm just not used to tvs that are led lit.
Are there any 60inch models that have less noticeable banding issues? I was considering the Samsung H6350 or Sony w630b but I want to make sure they would be enough of an improvement to justify spending a bit more. Thank you.
