I just bought a TXN3271HF and I'm interested in displaying the output of my laptop on the tv. According to the specs I found, this tv has 800 lines of horizontal so I would assume it would be able to display 1024x768? If this is the case, could I use a simple vga to component cable, such as this one:

Or would I need much more expensive converter box? If this is the case, would a comparable tv such as the Zenith C32V36 with DVI make more sense? and would this be capable of displaying a laptop VGA signal via VGA 2 DVI cable?
