Sorry to bu all of you with a question about such an old system, but I searched your forum and didn't find anything.
I just upgraded a VGX-XL1A to Vista (May try 7 later after reading a few threads) - the only problem other then there being no driver support for the Marvell Libertas wireless, is that now the eject button on the front of the computer for DVD/CD no longer works. All ejecting for the drive must be done through my computer and a right click.
I have searched Sony's knowledge databases to no avail as well.
