I have a g965 mobo, celeron 2.4gh cpu, 800mh ddr2 ram, 32mb cache 7200rpm sata3g hdd, radeon 2400pro gpu, and hauppauge hvr1250 tuner. I just tried to watch the digital channels and they are jerky and audio gets messed up when in full screen. When windowed, things are fine. I noticed that the cpu is 100% when full screen and about 50-65% when windowed.
I'm looking at either getting a new cpu (core2duo) or new video card (nvidia 9600gt). Which would be the most beneficial, all around? It's an htpc, but a little gaming will happen. Obviously, it would be better to just get both.
