Looking for some help. My two month old panny 50" consumer model all of a sudden has a problem in video 1 mode (and video2 and 3). I am in NYC and have a TW Pioneer 3250HD box hooked up via component and it has always been fine. I have my vcr hooked up via composite to video one and it was fine. Now, when I go to Video 1, the box that says video 1 in the upper left hand corner shakes and when I turn on the VCR, the picture is a mess. It's not the VCT or the connections, because I have checked the connections and tried the VCR on another TV. Video 2 and 3 seem to have a similar problem. If anyone has an idea, it would be appreciated (Panasonic customer service told me to call a Panasonic authorized service guy, which I will do if I can't solve this.)

thanks for any help, Mark

One thing you could try is feed a composite signal from the cable box (set it on a SD channel) into video 1 input of the Panny

My thought is the VCR does not have time coding, so it may work with a conventional TV but not the Panny
