I got this "Sonic Championship" arcade machine a while ago from a video arcade.

My cheap digital camera won't take good pictures of the whole machine.

I'll try to borrow my Dad's camera and take more pictures of the arcade machine.

FYI, "Sonic Championship" is the only fighting Sonic game available. Supposedely, this game was never released on any home console. In Japan this game was known as "Sonic The Fighters".

It's not for sale.

Sorry!

I bought this unit after I found this website.
http://www.arcadecontrols.speedhost.com/arcade.htm

If I had known sooner that home consoles can be converted to look like a real arcade machine, I never would have purchased the "Sonic Championship".

I known as Ms. Clark Howard (because I'm frugal) to my friends.

I'm going to buy a PS/2 when it drops to $150.

I then plan on getting a big screen tv and get a friend of mine to build a cabinet in which 4 people can play.

I would like something similar to this:

I also plan on having real joysticks and buttons with this unit.

I prefer console games instead of pc games.

Of course nothing beats a real arcade machine.

Well, I've got to get someone to do it because I don't consider myself a carpenter.

I'll be glad to do the soldering but that's about it.

Check this out!

Hanaho Games is going to come out with a PS/2 dual driving cabinet.

I think it looks awesome.

It uses a Logitech Pro driving force feedback wheel, pedals, two 27 inch TVs and two PS/2s.

Dino,

I can't access your website.

Are you working on it right now?

I tried to access your website at 4:58 AM EST.

I was able to access your website 7:59 AM EST.

Pretty nice looking Mame unit.

I can't wait for a PS/2 unit so that I can play Virtua Fighter 4 and other games.

I noticed that you have a Mirage BPS-400 subwoofer.

Isn't it awesome!

I take my server down (well actually I stop the web services) for backups every night at around 3am EST. I get failures if I try to backup open files.

Thanks for the comments about the Mame machine. It will be going into storage for a while along with everything I own because I am moving out of my house. My new one won't be ready until February. So my wife and I will move back in with mom while my house is being built. Arrrrggggghhhhh. To make things easier I will slap a DirecTV dish up for those 6 months or so. It will be worth it because my new house will eventually contain a dedicated home theater.

The BPS-400 is pretty awesome. I also have a Velodyne F-1800XRII (18"). I bought the BPS-400 to fill the 50-80HZ range because the Velodyne tended to not do so well at the upper end of the bass range. Not only does it fill that 50-80 Hz range I now have it playing everything from 85Hz down because it sounds so good.

You guys may be opening up a whole can of worms.. =>

Here's what I did.. you may want to research MAME a bit, and some of the neat things it can do.

I took a Speakers Podium, put a 17" monitor on it, then got some used arcade controls, slapped a PC inside.. and VOila! I now have 3000 Classic arcade games ON TAP!

- pacman? Yup got it!

- Robotron? Yup got it!

- Defender? Yup got it!

- Street Figheter? Yup got it?

- Dig dug? Yup got it!

- Space Invaders? Yup got it!

- Joust? Yup got it!

- etc. etc. etc.

Check out my site for details on my project:
