Do you recommend video games on a Grand WEGA or not? Are the black levels at least acceptable? Motion smearing? Thanks.

I game with all 3 consoles on the 60" XBR950 GW and I highly recommend that.

You have to play the game Far Cry. The picture blows me away on my 70 xbr. I never even use my other computers for games anymore because they look so small. I have not really compared games on another tv, but they do look good on the gwIII.

I have only played a few XBOX games on my GWIII and love it... no problems with response time or smearing so far, but I haven't played any dark games yet either, so I can't answer the black levels question. I don't have any issues with regular TV, so I reckon I won't with games either.


It just looks flat out awesome, and no worries about burn in. How cool is that?

Not sure what you want to hear, but I have no complaints on the black levels, so they are more than acceptable. No Motion smearing.

The biggest attribute is it's a 60" widescreen and No burnin worries.

The quality with the xbr is the best I've ever seen the 3 consoles look.

The only Bad is the wife wanting to watch TV on the bigscreen the same time you want to play games.

Recommendation: you take even nights, she takes odd nights. Trading is allowed. Works great at my house.

I didn't have to factor kids into my equation. Just cats. And they end up being happy half the time anyway (when I watch DiscoveryHD).

twinview.. i have a spare all in one cable that outputs svideo for both the xb and ps2. you can run a hidef signal in one side and have the game playingvia svideo on another. works pretty well.

Watched a mets game in hd while my friend was playing ffx2 on the ps2.

pretty dorky but it works.

I play Xbox HD on my 50". At times I have to make myself stop cause I can be there for hours and not get things done. I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for a divorce.
