Equipment
Intel Dual core E2180
945 chipset asus motherboard
ATI HD4650 with hdmi output
Primary monitor-LCD connected via DVI
Secondary monitor- LCD TV connected via HDMI
I use Windows Vista Media center to play movies.
I followed FFdshow Walkthrough: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced Configurations guide.
When playback is via primary monitor, video plays well, no lag visible. But when playback is through secondary monitor, Video starts out playing well, then after 5 to 10 seconds, you will notice slight fast forward in the video, seemingly to catch up with the correct frame. Then the whole cycle starts over again. Audio plays back fine.
I believe this might be an ffdshow setting that I configured wrongly. But how do I correct this? I don't know what type of movie i'm playing. whether it's mpeg1, mpeg2, raw, etc.
I can't focus on which settings to tweak.
Please help.
