Video plays in Slow Motion Problem

I have been downloading video from my replaytv using dvarchive for about a year. But I just got a new computer and on this machine after i download the video, the computer plays it back in slow motion. Any ideas/help would greatly be appreciated! BTW, it plays back in slow motion in Windows Media Player and ReVue.
