I have a friend who wants to sell it to me for cheap. He has had it for 2 years. I have been over to their house many time and enjoyed the projector imensely. I have read some disconcerning news about vidikron here, but he has not had any problems at all. WOW, what a picture. It was ISF calibrated.

He want to move on to bigger and better things for his theater and I want to get rid of my LCD.

QUESTION

Where can I find reviews on the vidikron IMAGE TWO and VP-20 line doubler.

I would also like to know where I can find manuals for the unit. His original dealer took the manuals by accident and misplaced them.

Your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

you´re posting under CRTs so I think you´re talking about the Vision Two.

If it is so, make a search for Marquee 8500. The Vision Two is exactly the same CRT excluding the nicer case.

manuals can you find on the madrigal side cause the MP8 is nearly the same but 100% the same regarding using.

Abe,

If you've seen the Image Two in action and you like the way it looks AND you're getting it cheap, go for it. The Image Two is based on a video projector produced a few years ago under the Harmon Kardon label. It has a couple of minor upgrades from the HK unit, but frankly you'd get a better picture from a rebuilt CRT projector from Hi Rez here , or from one of the many sources selling rebuilt CRT projectors.

Hello Everyone,

I personally own the Vidikron VP-20, Line Doubler. It works great for DVD Player, S-VHS VCRS, LD, and DSS. The performance of the Vidikron VP-20 is outstanding.

1) Makes the picture very smooth no more unwanted lines

2) Many different adjustments to make the picture even better.

I am using it with my Sony VPH 1251Q and very happy with its result.

Good Luck

Bill.
