Wow! Seems very interesting. This could pave the way hopefully for cheaper LCOS implementation and make it more mainstream. If anything is gonna phase out CRT (Don't get me wrong, CRT is still king in PQ), it's definitely LCOS that has the potential.
Sooner than who thinks? They are going to begin production in July. They will possibly ship in August. They will build 2000 units and expect people to pay $5K for a 36" TV. That should cause them to fly off the shelves -- not!
I still love that people are sure the PQ of these sets is going to be revolutionary when no one has seen a production one of them. It cracks me up.
I suspect they will sell 2000 units by year end of 2002 and that maybe 1-2 of them will be in the hands of AVS Forum members. I'll eat my post if I'm wrong.
