Well, here's a new -- and slightly weird -- entry in the convergence sweepstakes: The Viewsonic Video Box.

It looks like an outboard TV tuner and switcher that converts the incoming signals to your choice of resolutions including 1024x768 at 60/75Hz.
Also has an RGB passthrough for your computer.
Might be a cheap way for some folks to add cable or antenna reception to their HTPC systems. Also convenient switching capabilities -- although at this price the video quality is anyone's guess.
And the whole connection and audio "thang" is pretty vague in the description...
