I am considering purchasing the Vifa Surround speaker kit from Madisound: http://www.madisound.com/audi.html


It has front and back panels with a woofer and tweeter on each side. The interesting part is that the top surface of the speaker is not as deep as the bottom, making the front and back surfaces sloped. I'm not sure if the intent is to mount the speaker on a wall with the speaker drivers aiming slightly up or turn it over and have them aiming slightly down.


Anyone have any experiences with this speaker, good or bad?

Oh, I forgot to mention that you can wire the woofers either in-phase or out-of-phase for choosing either dipole or bipole configurations.
