Vista Media Center thumbs

Ok, I've just installed a nice copy of Vista with Media center. I'm used to media portal (love the dang thing), but decided to give Media center a try being that when I set my MCE remote up to load Media portal it opens both media portal and Media center. (if someone knows how to disable media center from starting up when you push the green button on the remote I would be most grateful), but since I don't know how to do that I set up Media center. It's not bad but still a little sluggish. The one thing that I really don't like is the huge thumbnail type listing of all the videos and pictures etc. Is there anyway to change the view to a smaller type, maybe list style???
