I just purchased a set of Monitor Audio Radius HD speakers.

The 225HD (my center speaker) has some weirdness that the other speakers don't have.

The rubber surrounding the cones on both of the cone mid-bass drivers has a sort of whitish tint. This also doesn't feel as 'smooth' to the touch as the other units in the system.

It sounds fine. Should I return for a replacement? Any thoughts on what this could be and if I should be concerned?

It might just be some talcum powder from the rubber manufacturing process. Just use a bit if armor all on a lint free towel and wipe the surround. It'll disappear. Be careful not to get any on the cone.
