Hi, My projector has finally died and I am looking for an 80 inch tv. Right now I am trying to pick either the Vizio M801d-A3 or the Sharp LC-80LE650U. The price will be roughly the same, within 50 bucks with the Sharp being the cheapest. One of my main concerns is refresh rate. The Vizio has 240hz and the Sharp has 120hz. I will be watching a lot of NASCAR  football and blu-rays. I have an over the air antenna which delivers a great hi-def picture. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I would say get the Vizio M801d-A3 2013 it's has a amazing picture, much better than the Sharp. It also has 3D as the 2014 series will not. It is edge lit with smart dimming so it can get pretty good blacks. I have had mine since launch and love it. At work we have the a Sharp 70" and the PQ is lackluster. If you have any questions about my experience ask away I love my Vizio!
