you know the guide on the Vizio VX37L, how it should list the programs and what not, well how do I get mine to work? It doesnt show the programs or list anything when I press guide, just the channel number

anyone know what I have to do? or can this just not be done with cable

have you done your initial channel scan with the vizio?

i just have an antenna connected to it now and i can use the guide on hd channels.

what kind of antenna? I am just running it through a cable out of the wall

just the usual indoor OTA antenna (RCA). Are you receiving HD channels from your cable? maybe you're just receiving SD.

yeah, I dont get any HD channels, I think I need to buy an antenna to recieve HD channels, is this why the guide doesnt work?

yep...no info on SD channels...ask your cable company...maybe you can upgrage or something...good luck.
