I have 2 questions for those in the know? Can someone out there with a Voom settop box tell me if the analog component video outputs send a downrezzed resolution for 1080i material if used instead of DVI. Also, is the DVI, a DVI-A or D connector. I have a CRT with RGBHV inputs,

and have some concerns on the content protection schemes built

into this unit. thanks.

I am using component out to a transcoder hooked up using RGBHV to my CRT FP. I have watched programming at 720Pand 1080i. Now whether or not the VOOM folks can downrez any programming in the future, I don't know but I would think as a HD service would probably not.


The DVI connection is DVI-D.
