I am trying to decide based on performance and price which would be better for my home theater.


Anthem AVM30 + DVDO VP50


or


Anthem AVM50


It seem the AVM30 + VP50 would be slightly less expensive, but would the quality be as good? I have plenty of room in my rack, so space is not a problem to have 2 components instead of just one.

2 of my friends made the switch from the VP50 to the D2 and they both prefer the D2 (with 1080p projectors, Blu-ray and HD-DVD players). Since the AVM50 is using the same scaler, results should be the same.
