vph-1030q hdtv receiver

I bought this 1030q and have it working good with my compuer and matrox card, but I am experimenting with a borrowed hdtv tuner box with vga out, I cant seem to get the picture to display without the screen rolling, I know this pj should be good for 480p and that setting doesnt seem to work, but if i set it to 1080p it displays a picture, be it cut off, do i need to adjust something or will this not work for some reason? Thanks

Do not run 1080, the power supply can't handle it,, as for 480p it depends on how late the model is.
Yes I know that, i think i may need a sync convertor, anyone know of a model that will work?
I am using an Extron 202plus that works just dandy. I am pretty darn sure most if not all Extron boxes will do the job for you.
I got an extron 118 plus, but it has a 9pin input and 4 bnc output, can I just make an adapter from 4 bnc cable ends soldered to a 15pin female end and connect this to my 15 to 25 pin cable, and solder a 9 pin connector on to a 15 video cable? I tried it and it isnt working, not to say i may not have a wiring issue. How do you connect it up?
pin - It sounds like you got just the Extron box without the input cable. I don't recall what the wiring scheme is for the 9pin - 15pin setup you need. If I get the time I'll check my cable and post back with the pinouts

As for the 4 BNC outputs you could find a 5 BNC -> HD15 (vga) adapter cable. They sell on Ebay for less than 10 bucks. Most Extron boxes will adapt to them without issue.
I got it working, checked my pins and solder and fixed the issue.
