Hey Guys,


Is there a specific way for me to hook up my ps3 with my VSX 1020? For some reason my VSX 1020 does not pick up the PS3 signal, sometimes it pickes it up perfectly, and some times it looks like the signal is really weak (flickering and static). My xbox works perfectly, but it's just my ps3 that seems to be giving me lots of problems. any ideas? I reset my receiver back to factory, but that didn't do anything.

Try setting the PS3 Deep Color Offset setting to OFF as well as replacing the HDMI cable.

I have found that my 1020 to be very HDMI Cable picky. I has some no name ones (one came with Dish Network, another with some PS3 "kit"). I keep having issues. I got some AudioQuest Pearl HDMI's and haven't had a issue. AudioQuest Pearl are very affordable vs Walmart or other retail stores. But if you want a $5 off the internet then good luck.
