Hi guys,

I am "breaking into" the digital age. I just purchased an HDTV(Sony KDF-E55A20).

I'm setting up my living room(not Home theatre) for TV experience. I am trying to decide if the Pioneer VSX-815-K will supply my HD via component needs. It doesn't state the bandwidth the component output can handle.

Does anyone know if this receiver will switch high defininition video signal with enough bandwidth from a cable STB and DVD player to my Sony?

Also any brand names besides Niles and Xantech on IR repeaters?

cloose is correct. I just looked at your manual and the component video frequency response is 5hz to 40 Mhz +0/-3db. To pass a HD signal you need 37Mhz so your good to go.
