VSX-9100TX is it worth $200.00 used ??

A buddy of mine wants to sell me his pioneer for 200 bucks and I currently own a Yamaha htr 5790 and my question is would it be an improvement over my current avr,

and will it be a dramatic difference in sound quality between the yamaha and the pioneer coupled with my polk audio speakers and velodyne sub...
