I realize this has elements of a dvd player thread but i believe it belongs here.So many say 1080p purchase only worth it with hd players and I have no interest in rebuying all my dvds.Along comes the oppo 981 that upconverts standard dvds to 1080p and now waiting on a 1080p plasma that affordable seems like a good idea.Any thoughts on upconversion to 1080p picture quality.
