I just got the Samsung 52" 750 and have it on mounted on the wall. Since my old Onkyo receiver and Cerwin Vega speakers went to my wifes new business I need to replace what I don't have now.

I am looking at a set of the atlantic technologies FS3200 series wall mount speakers or the FS4000 bar type speaker. One FS3200 on each side with the matching center under/over the tv. I also found the EMP EW series and the Definitive Technology speakers.

Is one brand/version better than the other? Would I be better off mounting some bookshelf type speakers? I am pretty much limited in space around my tv.

I cannot listen to any local and they will be used pretty much 75% movies and 25% tv/music. I do not have a receiver yet I cannot make up my mind on a Onkyo 606/706 or the Pioneer VSX-1018AH.

I am pretty much set on just getting the left, right, and center right now. Surround is pretty much our for my living room space as the furniture buts up against the walls. I am looking for something that sounds good. I am not too anal about super accurate reproduction of sound.

Floor standing speakers are pretty much out because of a 2yld and a 6lyd running around playing.

You would be surprised at how well kids leave speakers alone when they know they will get into trouble if they touch them. I have kids as well and they haven't touched them and we play ball around them, wrestle around them, etc. My kids were 3 and 6 when I bought my Axiom M80s to replace my M22s in my HT area.

Anyway Axiomaudio might be a good place to look, they have on-wall speakers that sound as good as their bookshelf counterparts.

I see Paradigm is now making some on walls as is Jamo.
