Hey guys!!


I'm looking for a wall-mounted rack unit to mount my audio/video gear. I've found this wall-mount unit:

Does anyone know what the height of this unit is? I emailed the website but they didn't reply to me. Since its 12U high, I figure 12 x 1.75 = 21 inches.


This wall mount rack will be mounted inside of a cabinent. I have a little over 19 inches of mounting depth available to me. I have 30 inches of height available, but there is a lip on the cabinent so I coulnd't fit anything larger than 26 inches height in (unless I could somehow rotate the unit upwards inside.


The gear I want to mount is minimal, only including:


Voom STB (satellite TV)

DVD Player

Receiver

4x2 component switcher

And possibly a VCR


Do you think 12U is enough space for this?


Also, are the swining gate wall racks directional? I mean, can they be mounted to open either to the left or to the right?

These work really well if you can squeeze a little more depth out of your cabinet.

and you can use a slim 5 rack and cut it to exactly the height you want

Googling for "Middle Atlantic" SRSR yields 263 results. The first vendor listed sells them for $350 - $400. Elapsed search time: ~30 seconds.
