Has anyone wall mounted Paradigm Mini Monitors? These are my rears - in my last house I had them on shelves in the corners, but this time around they're centered up more on the wall.


Any suggestions?

Mr. Squid, I have mini's for my fronts along with a CC-350. They are rear ported, so I think you would not want them hung on the wall. In fact I think I remember in the Paradigm literature that they should be at least a foot from the wall.

My designer's stopping by tonight - he's going to hear it from me on this one... My speaker wire is run, my boxes are in, the drywall is up and the plastering is done. When we first talked placement he said that wouldn't be a problem. Maybe he's got something up his sleeve. grrr.....

Maybe he knows something I don't? Maybe the new ones aren't rear ported? But if they are like my old ones and unless your mounting them to the walls on their sides, I think your going to have problems. Anyway, let me know how it turns out.

He stopped by last night. His viewpoint was that since they were "just" surrounds, it wouldn't be a big deal. But we decided to put the them in another room, and I'm going to get a pair of the on-wall Mini Monitors to use as those surrounds.

Great. How's the weather in Wisconsin? My wifes family is from Northern WI. Morse to be exact, but its a small town, in fact I wouldn't even call it a town.

True. I considered mounting my mini-monitors on wall brackets made by B-Tech (go to the following link for info : http://www.crutchfield.com/S-l7CKNlw...earch=b%2Dtech ) but decided against them because the reason hoss mentions. The minis are rear ported and it's just not a good idea to block the airflow to the back. Instead I got me some sanus stands and had to put a wallplate to the boxes... oh well.
