Does it matter how high you mount your speakers on the wall? Any suggested heights? The speakers will be mounted via Omnimounts.

Which speakers? Fronts or surrounds?


General guideline for front speakers are that the high frequency driver (tweeters) should be at the ear level when seated at main listening position. As for surrounds, they should be above the ear level. Any thing between 1-3' above should be fine for surrounds, feel free to experiment a bit and keep the one which sounds best to you.
