I have a Toshiba 24V4210U flat screen TV and want to mount it on the wall.


However, I can't find how to remove that ugly knob at the bottom, which is there to attach the standing base for tabletop use.


Please help.

Can not be sure but my guess is that part is held on buy the 3 screws above it.. and maybe even the 2 to the left and right., a single screw does not seem like it would be sufficient to support the TV. If all else fails, check your owners manual for mounting instructions.

Doug I thank you SO much. You were absolutely right! It was those three screws above.


The owner's manual says nothing about how to remove the "neck" or whatever that thingy in my photo is called. So you saved the day! I thought this would be one of those questions that would languish online forever, ignored and unanswered!
