Although I have not seen any company who has come out with such a product, I think that it is not only possible, but practical. Many of us mount Plasmas, LCD;s, etc on the walls; why not DLP RPTV's? After all, they are lighter, thinner then the old CRT based RPTV's. Most DLP's are placed on the manufacturer's or aftermarket stands. On some of our projects, we are buiding DLP's into the walls to look like Plasma sets. DLP's are considerably less expensive then Plasma, much more repairable, and none of the burn in issues associated with Plasma. Considering that most DLP's are less then 17" deep, and less then 100 lbs, why not build an on wall bracketing system for them? We have (more then 10 years ago) installed for commercial applications, RPTV (CRT based) ceiling mounts. These behamouths were at least 30" deep, and weighed in at 250 lbs! Why haven't we seen DLP wall mounts from such manufacturers as Peerless, Chief, Progressive Marketing, etc?
