Given the following approximation of the layout of my HT room, do you think I'd be better off with equidistant towers at 110 degrees, non-equidistant wall speakers at 110 degrees or equidistant wall speakers at approximately 90 degrees?

18.5 ft W

__________

| c | 2

| L R | 2

| f

|_ * sofa * | t

|________| L

The * represent immovable columns.

The diagram didn't come out the same way as when I posted it.

Let's try this.

Is this an individual house? How long is the room? It depends on the asthetics of the room. I think that In Walls look best (we have to deal with Interior Desecrators). In walls can give you great placement and with such advances like pivoting tweeters/drivers, it can be very nice. They work best with a floor standing subwoofer, in my opinion. If you don't mind the look of towers, they can be great, also.
