Krylon glossy black spray enamel would be my first choice if you were going to paint it yourself. The #1 rule with spray paint is don't overdo it. You can always add another coat later, but you can't get rid of runs.

It has a vinyl cover, so get a primer first, then black spray paint. If the store will sell you spray paint.

To do it right, your first step is going to be to remove the driver and amp from the enclosure. Then, follow SVS's recommendations on surface prep, sanding and painting (spray). Then reassemble.

Good luck, and please let us know how it goes.

I didn't want to start a new thread, I am in the same situation, I have the bronze/beige color and want to paint it black.

Any suggestion?

what kind of paint and steps you guys followed?

I have no idea how to start, so the more details the better.

I already sent nytheaternoob a PM to get his opinion, but if you guys have any suggestion, it would be more than appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance.
