I hope this is an error because you would think by this point in time they would have learned better. Their last 2 releases (or was it 3) Wonder Woman and Green Lantern had lossless tracks, so what's up with that?

For a 75min movie, this will make me think twice about buying it (at least right off). It's too bad too, because they are using Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly.

Ya never know.. Warner may try to squeeze the movie onto a single layer dvd...space is hard to come by these days, ya know!

I don't care, I don't treat animated movies the same as live action and if they have DD tracks, then no biggie. It's not like they released TDK with just a DD track. It's just not really worth getting up in arms over and threatening to not buy them. If you want them you'll buy them, otherwise rent.

AFAIK, this one isn't because it's supposed to be based on the comic (which came after), but it will have the original voice talent doing Batman/Superman.

Personally, I wish these cartoons weren't limited to eighty minutes.

The death and Return of Superman was an epic event involving the whole DCU.

"Superman-Doomsday" made it merely a Lex Luthor hates but needs Superman story.

"Superman-Doomsday", should have been a 2hr 30min Epic that actually adapted the series. Containing : Steel, Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, Supergirl (2), Superboy (2), and the whole JLA!!!

Actually I do. Just for the fact that the movies are so short, and that they should be able to go the extra effort and put a lossless track on every movie at this point- there's no excuse not to. I don't rent, I just buy as it's price negligible- if there's no lossless track I guess I'll just wait and pick it up used.

These things don't sell in the same universe that would garner such an idea.

That would be nice, but every extra minute of animation adds to the budget enormously. I do think the typical runtimes for these features are a bit short, but the storytelling has improved on each successive feature.
